Never forgetting
Haunting of the past.
My sister venting to me about how some of her classmates whom she called friends are treating her. I had to tell her that’s no friends. This induce my own trauma and sadness from high school.
The past is long gone but the feeling are present. Never letting go. The sadness. The anxiety. The outcast.
The sense I don’t belong anywhere. People have friends and I just have myself. My only friend also left me for her cousin. I was replaceable. My loyalty meant nothing.
The days of high school still haunt me. Never forgetting. Someday I feel like I couldn’t face the world.

This post is actually highly relatable for me. Although I have matured and much time has passed, I feel like my high-school memories will always sometimes "knock on my door" to remind me of those bad times.
I just want to tell you, you are not alone... and I believe in my heart that you will meet the people you need in your life, long term friends, just if you put a little effort into finding them. Unfortunatelly the story of our life - of all of us - is that people are coming and going, in and out of our life. Not all of them are meant to stay. But please, don't take this as a setback nor as an indication of how valuable of a person you are.
Sending you lots of support and huggs... Speak kindly to yourself ❤️
