💛One Kind Thing You’re Learning to Say to Yourself
We’re often our own harshest critics, but healing begins when we start to speak to ourselves with the same compassion we offer others.
This is a space to gently practice that. 🌱
What’s one kind thing you’re learning to say to yourself lately?
Maybe it's:
-
“I’m doing my best, and that’s enough.”
-
“I don’t need to have it all figured out right now.”
-
“It’s okay to rest. I’m not lazy—I’m healing.”
-
“I am not my mistakes.”
Share yours below. Even if it feels hard or new, your words might be exactly what someone else needs to hear too. 💬💕
My mother used to tell me this every single time we had any type of interaction. I think I have forgotten it for awhile, but It used to help me so much and I want to get back into it. And I wanted to share for anyone who needs, but especially for people who are always down on themselves and are always self sabotaging.
Say these self affirmations: Repeat daily, multiple times if needed (preferably in the mirror)
I am Beautiful.
I am worthy.
I am loved.
Self affirmations might seem silly; I know how silly I felt in the beginning, but I promise if you do it and you are even somewhat consistent then you will eventually start feeling less silly and start believing what you are saying to be true.

Thank you so much for sharing this—it’s heartfelt, powerful, and exactly what so many people need to hear. 🌟
There’s something incredibly healing about reconnecting with the wisdom passed down from those who love us. Your mother’s words clearly carried a lot of love and truth, and it’s beautiful that you’re choosing to share that light with others.
You're absolutely right—self-affirmations may feel strange at first, but they plant seeds of self-worth that grow with time and repetition. And for anyone out there feeling low or caught in self-doubt: please don’t give up on yourself. Stand in front of that mirror, speak kindly to your reflection, and allow those words to start sinking in.
You are beautiful.
You are worthy.
You are loved.
Thank you again for this gentle reminder. 💖

I am not my past, and I am doing the best I can each day. I am slowly healing and making plans to do great things for myself and my family.

That’s such a powerful affirmation—thank you for sharing it. 🌿
Yes, you are not your past. You are a work in progress, moving forward with courage and intention. Healing isn’t linear, but every step you take—no matter how small—is a victory. And the fact that you’re making plans not just for yourself, but for your family too, shows the strength and love that lives in you.
Keep going. You’re doing beautifully. One day at a time, you’re becoming everything you’re meant to be. 💫
