Overwhelming
I haven't been on in a while and I shouldn't really be here now. I have about thirty minutes to do my language app before I start work early in an attempt to get everything done that I need to. Think we're short-staffed and I have four maybe five reports to finish before the end of next week.
Also doing an online degree but went to complete an assignment yesterday and found that the computer wouldn't fully start up. Someone's coming to look at it Saturday. The hard drive might be corrupted. I can download most of the things I had on the computer again but my assignment and Internet passwords are on the hard drive. Data recovery is expensive.
I currently have fifteen minutes to work on my language app before I start work early to try and beat my deadline.
I know there's nothing to be done about the situation but I just feel like everything is happening at once. Have to remember to put in a maintenance request because I was having trouble with the shower last night. And now I'm almost out of time to do my language.

Sorry the reply is so late. Didn't see any responses when I checked last and work has still been the same. Was in the office half the day last Saturday. Won't get paid for it since I wasn't supposed to be there but if I didn't get the work done, I would have been in trouble for that too. I figured sacrificing my time (and lunches for three days this week) was easiest. I am somewhat caught up now but sort of got in trouble for doing a report I don't normally do incorrectly. Why is it businesses always pinpoint things you do wrong and ignore things done right? I do a lot for this company and they'll only realize that after I'm gone.
As for the computer, no. The hard drive failed. The tech said it was typical of the brand that was installed in my computer. He bought a new one and installed some extra memory too. I have a bigger hard drive but I had to completely rebuild the database for my assignment. I passed the assignment but got a mark against my final assignment. The professor said I failed to follow the instructions and do a certain code but it wasn't in the final assignment. It was in the assignment I had to redo.
I still passed the couse though and I'll be starting on my next course soon. It's Information Security and I have no idea how involved it will be.
