When I’m home too long, I feel sad… Why? How do I avoid this?

@jesusredeemedme2425 aww sweetie I'm sorry. Maybe cause your lonely there, or is something triggering at home?? Do you get out much? Fresh air and excercise is good for you. When we are alone and not doing anything, our brains leads t us to dark places, but you've got us ❤❤ forever and ever ❤

What is it that's making you sad? Is it the home environment or loneliness? If you understand what's triggering it, we can work out in solving the issue or try to understand how to function well

Good morning! Have you set certain expectations for yourself? Do you feel being at home makes you feel like a bum or that you're missing out on something? Do you feel like you need to be doing things outside of the house to have a valuable life or be seen as valuable?

Hi, I find when I’m home too long I get anxious and very depressed. I just moved to a new town and in with a new boyfriend… I was kicked out of my parents basement apartment….. I feel so alone and lonely and it definitely doesn’t feel like home for me. I wish I could offer some type of support but I can relate.

Hugs

@jesusredeemedme2425 I go for short walks, at least one a day or two, even if its just around the block it makes things different

@jesusredeemedme2425  Just throwing this out there, but have you tried church surfing for free meals.  I'm not really religious, but sometimes I need a meal and since its church everyone is on their best behaviour and really friendly to outsiders.  Its really pleasant and it doesn't cost any money.  If your not picky about your denominations you can find all the organizations in your area that do this.  I can usually find a few free breakfast, lunch and dinners in my area each month.  It would get you out of the house and social.  Also if you're open to it, almost every religion does this.

My other low cost get out of the house activities are going to the library and going to the dollar tree.  Its nice to enjoy an outing where you can bring something back.
