School
I'm not looking for sympathy. I am just venting. Can I just say that I can't wait to get out of school. I am only in my first semester. I can't stand the reading assignments for graduate students. Some of it is really interesting, but I have to do it, and I just want to vegetate out and relax. I start to read and my mind won't even digest what I have to read. It just mostly shuts off. I know it's up to me. I'm doing my best. I just can't wait to be done. Starting in January, I'll only have two years to go. That isn't much. I have to hang in there and find the energy to keep this up. And I have to maintain a B average. The program I'm in will only allow one C. Any more than that and I'm thrown out of the program. Right. boo hoo. Too bad for the woman who is complaining about having to maintain a good average through grad school. I'm just venting. I realize. I'm not looking for sympathy. I am just venting.
@purpleTree4652 Information overload and mental exhaustion are a real thing, particularly in graduate programs. I don't even want to think about what people working towards a PhD go through. 😱
Wishing you the rest, the extra mental storage space you need and continued success!
