Struggling to Move On After a Breakup

Hello guys,

I’m going through a really difficult time after my breakup and could use some advice or support. My narcissistic ex seems to be doing really well thriving in her career and bragging about her new relationship. Though I’m happy for her, it’s hard not to feel like my contributions during our relationship played a part in her career success, and now I’m left feeling stuck, depressed, and unsure of how to move forward.

I just want to know if anyone has been here and how did you find the strength to focus on your own growth and happiness? Any advice would mean so much to me right now.

Thank you for listening. 💛

going through the same, but eventually you need to love yourself, you need to align your energies towards something thats more constructive and meaningful for you. Honestly, its about building that relationship with your own self( but you need to start from zero) its about understanding that if you could give them all the compassion and respect, then why not start giving yourself atleast the half of it. We all have lots of love to give, but we often end up showering it on wrong people. But maybe this time you need to focus on your own self, i know its not fair that your ex seems to be doing good while you are struggling, but yk what you are not them , as they are not you. You need to sit down and actually think of what you wanna do next, i know you did a lot in that relationship and got nothing in return and that should be your motivation, this time put all those efforts in your own self, set some realistic goals, and just go for it. And, i know its fine to maintain healthy relationship with your ex, but maybe you want to know less about their life, and give less details about your life too.

and i hope you heal from this. All the very best❤️

@tealKiwi2767 Stay in No Contact , Focus on your mental health , GYM , Meditate , Self care , Read books and most important travel , This'll make you forget about her , and the fact is everyone has his/her part of life written already , so try working on yourself , give yourself some time , don't fall into any addictions , explore spirituality , Time heals everything , You just gotta be strong

@tealKiwi2767 Girl here, I cannot advice you but can somewhat relate. My case is much much worse becoz the boy I cannot get over is my very first crush. And I have been in love with him since 10 whole years. And I am 21. Yes, you read it right. I love him since age 11. I never even got to shake hands with him, and I want to marry him. I am both physically and mentally loyal to him ( becoz I am a proper virgin and I haven't even imagined myself with anyone else). I love him too much but he hurts me too much. Not only does he not reciprocate but he also emotionally abuses me by blocking me everywhere often and hurling harsh words at me. It hurts and I cannot move on. I am stuck in this miasma of despair from which I am unable to extricate myself. It's ironical that when your love is the truest, deepest, most intense love on this planet, it cannot be materialized. Tragic world ours is.

I feel you @Sanvee11 it’s so frustrating when you truly love someone and they abuse you instead of.

"I’m really sorry you're going through this. Breakups can be incredibly tough, especially when it feels like you're left in a place of uncertainty while they seem to be moving on. It’s completely understandable to feel stuck or even question your own worth. You’ve clearly given a lot to the relationship, but remember that your value isn't tied to someone else's success. Focusing on your own growth can be challenging, but sometimes taking small steps each day—whether it's working on personal goals, reconnecting with things that bring you joy, or talking to supportive people—can help rebuild your confidence and sense of direction. You’re not alone in this, and your happiness and future are so important. Take things one day at a time. 💛"
