Struggling with moving on

4 years ago I made someone I loved not want to talk to me anymore, I was an alcoholic and I harassed her over the phone drunkly for to long and she blocked me and told me not to talk to her again, we knew eachother since the 4th grade, we were really good friends up until I started drinking in highschool, I know I loved this person because I still miss her and I grieved her leaving my life.

4 years later and now I believe I have matured emotionally, I know what I did was unacceptable, I want to tell her how truly sorry I am, I want her to know that I can accept not having her romantically and im mature enough to love her as a friend, and I understand she may never talk to me ever again...

If she ever did, I imagine myself meeting with her for coffee or an ice cream, I hug her and tell her how sorry I am I hurt her, I tell her how I've changed in important areas and maybe I bring flowers for her to try and make up.

Opinions or thoughts or questions are welcomed.

@Jaydenjaneiro8762

If you feel your alcohol addiction was part of the reason .

In a 12 step program one of steps is making amends and if possible to contact even thru friends and ask for her to meet for coffee/ ice cream whatever and just listen to your amends .. most people will meet even if in the end it does not end with friendship patched up

Thank you for the idea its not bad, currently I feel that she may need some more time and I dont want to disrespect her wishes by talking to her. But I do really hope she would want to atleast let me properly apologize to her, but it isn't a right of mine to get that closure from her, I really hope she is willing to open that door to me again though. Again thank you for responding I appreciate the idea
