This is difficult but here at cups we are not trained to deal with situations such as this.

You explain to the member, that they must reach out to a crisis support line as you are not able to assist them at this time but you hope they get the help and support that they need and you have to end the chat, to give them the space to get the help they need 💛

You can also get support in the listener support room and also I think it would benefit you getting a mentor 💛
