My son went off about his dad in counseling today. Its been building up for a couple of years and today finally he had enough. It was sad to listen to him but what he said was true.

I'm glad you posted. It must have been really difficult to hear what your son had to say, but it sounds like he really needed to get it out. How do you feel about him sharing what he said? How do you feel about the session over all?

I completely agree with everything he said. session so far going ok but there’s a lot we can’t get him to do

Do you have a support system you can turn to, to help you deal with everything going on outside of therapy? Sometimes having a friend to talk to can help a lot.

Not really I have my mom but most of the time I don't bring up to much. she’s the type sometimes she’s supportive. Sometimes everything is my fault. I have my husband, but a lot of times he just thinks our son is lazy. I don't tell him much about the appointments.

@skyraven02 im also somewhat like your son because my mom didnt leave and refuses to acknowledge it. its nice to see you are there for him please support him and listen to him and protect him
