The Unknown
At 22, I’m standing on the edge of so many unknowns, and it terrifies me. After years of being at my parents’ house, I’m now looking at apartments with my boyfriend, trying to imagine what life will really be like on our own. Excitement fights with a deep, restless anxiety about what’s coming next. Will we start a family? Will we be strong enough to face everything ahead? My heart is full of questions, but the answers stay just out of reach. I wish I could skip ahead, see the whole picture, and find peace. But all I can do is breathe through the uncertainty and take it day by day, hoping the future holds more light than shadow.

I know it's an anxious time, all the fear, all the unknowns, but dont let the what ifs take away the fun and the excitement. Take it one day at a time. All that matters is that you have each other. Wishing you both the best of luck 💕💜
@Amanda84
I’m overwhelmed with excitement and so full of hope for everything that’s ahead of us. Thank you, truly, from the bottom of my heart!
@Lindsey103
A pleasure 💜💕
Hey, have you ever tried to speak about these things to somebody? Maybe it'll help if you just... put these questions and hear a few people's thoughts about this. Not to influence yours, but to think about these things for a few moments. Sometimes these anxieties can go away by just talking openly with the right person about these things.

Hey!! I haven’t really opened up to anyone about this just my boyfriend. I shared how I was feeling here because I needed to release some of the heavy weight inside me… all my thoughts, my anxieties, everything. I don’t really have anyone else to turn to, so being able to say this here means more than I can put into words.
That's what this place is about. And if you'd like, we could talk about this. You know, that's what listeners on his app are about, to listen, to understand, to offer compassion and help you. So if you want, you can text me or anybody else 🫂
@DryRain16L
Thank you for being so kind and open. It really means a lot to know there are people here willing to listen and understand. I might take you up on that and reach out sometime soon!!

You can either press on somebody's avarar and press "send message" or look for a random or specific listener from the listener menu, accessible from the chat menu.
I'm telling you from experience though , opening and venting helps, actually, a lot. It depends from person to person, but personally, for me it's everything, to be able to have somebody that i know it's there to always listen, and maybe sometimes give me back a little feedback, that isn't judgement, but just another's opinion that stimulates you to ruminate about your beliefs and ultimately make it stronger.
I hope you'll find quiet and peace of mind.
@DryRain16L
I appreciate you explaining that so clearly. It’s true, sometimes just having someone there to listen and share a thoughtful, non judgmental perspective can really help us process what we’re feeling. Everyone’s way of coping is different, but connection like that can be really powerful. Thanks for the kind wishes I hope you find your own peace as well.❤️
@Lindsey103
The uncertainty won’t go away.
But your capacity to walk with it will grow.
You don’t need to have it all figured out to be strong.
You just need to be real about the fear… and move anyway.
Maybe the peace you’re searching for isn’t at the end of the story.
Maybe it starts here with you, breathing, hoping, building a life from scratch.
And maybe, just maybe, the light you’re hoping the future holds...
will come from you.

I’ve been holding on so tight to needing answers and control, thinking that’s the only way to feel okay. But reading your words made me realize that real strength isn’t about having everything figured out. It’s about just keeping going, even when you don’t know what’s next. Thanks for that it really means a lot.
