Unseen Battles, Silent Pain.
I’ve stopped telling anyone when my mental health spirals downward again. I heard someone say it’s exhausting to love someone battling depression and anxiety.
But the truth is, the last thing I want is for the people I care about to carry the weight of my pain, to feel shattered and drained because I’m desperately fighting to keep myself from sinking into the darkness.
@Lindsey103
Please tell them... It's so healthy and freeing <3
And tell us too. We love you, and we've got you <3
*hugs* <3

I’m trying… really.
It’s just hard to open up when you’ve spent so long convincing yourself that silence is safer. But hearing that it’s healthy, it’s freeing… it gives me a little more courage. So thank you.❤️
<3 hugs back <3
@Lindsey103
When you speak your emotions, your struggles... They lose their power. <3
@jesusredeeme2425
I never thought of it that way before. Makes a lot of sense though!!
@Lindsey103
Also, writing does the same thing.
@jesusredeeme2425
Honestly, my journal’s seen more drama than a reality show I'm basically the star of my own emotional rollercoaster!😂😂
@Lindsey103
Right???? I feel it lol
My poor friends when I go bleghhhhhhhh with my emotions on them XD
@Lindsey103
Caring and tending for a child is pretty exhausting too, but we won't stop doing that or treat it as a burden, right? When someone we love is going through depression and anxiety, it may at times feel a little overwhelming but that's not a burden, it's what love is.
I know where you're coming from because I myself have gone through depression in silence. And that's one reason why I joined here because sometimes we all need to share our emotions to let go of them.
So please open up with your loved ones or express to us here, you don't have to go through those things alone and in silence. :)

You're right, love isn't about things being easy all the time; it's about showing up even when it's hard. Knowing that you've been through silent struggles too makes me feel seen. Sometimes just knowing someone understands makes a huge difference.
I’m trying to open up more, little by little. So thank you for creating a space that feels safe enough to do that. ❤️
@Lindsey103
Ofcourse, one little step a day and you'll cross miles someday. It's not so easy to open up suddenly when the internal wiring says otherwise for decades.
Take your time and space when you open up, you're already putting efforts actively and that itself is a great thing. You'll be out of it pretty soon and everything will be positive and happy again.
Take care and stay strong. :)
I completely understand where your coming from. I have a lot of friends who go through a lot of difficulties. I remember how one of them came up to me one day saying that they started cutting themselves and that's when I felt like it was better not to share my pain with anyone. I always felt like my parents would never understand what I say so I shut them out too. But in the end its all very tiring and you end up asking yourself when is this all gonna end. That's when I came here and started talking to people. It helped me and though I still feel like I am stuck in a black hole, I at least know that there is someone here who is willing to listen to me, even if its pretend.
Know that your not alone and that there is a whole community here supporting you and cheering you on. You can do this <3

Thank you for sharing that!! I felt a lot of what you said especially the part about it being tiring. It really is. Carrying so much alone makes you feel like you’re constantly sinking. I’m really glad you found this space and that talking to people has helped even a little. That tiny thread of connection is enough to hold onto when everything else feels like it’s slipping. You’re not alone either. And I’m rooting for you too <3
