We were both wrong
Earlier this evening, I was on my way back to catch the train so I could go home from being down town. On my way I proceeded to walk through a mall. However, when I was on my way in, I attempted to hold the door from a couple who stood in place and gave me judgmental looking through staring and fake smiles.
Believe me we have a lot of people in my city who tend to seem like they are stuck on themselves. While snotty people are a hot button, I don’t usually go off.
I ended up starting a fight by attempting to use a comeback and the b word. While the couple were both judging me, I went off at the wife.
Being that I hurt her feelings, she got very aggressive and cussing at me back. I continued to call her names and walk away when I saw her come back and attempt to ask my what my problem was.
However, I walked away and waited until they were gone and then yelled that my problem is that I don’t like fake people and fake smiles.
However, a security guard came up and asked what was wrong and I told. Another father and his son told me that they liked me could tell that I am a very sincere person. Though he didn’t hear her yell at me, I explained what happened and he said that I had a right to stand up to her.
@Summershy It’s too bad they didn’t accept your gift of kindness. I’m guessing you learned from the experience while they remain proudly and forever entrenched in their assholness.
I agree with you, instead, they were trying to find a way to prove that they were better. However, when I used a comeback and added the b word, it showed me just how fragile her ego is. That was when she retaliated by throwing a tantrum. The thing is, she looked like she was in her 50’s but was acting like a 15 year old.
Additionally, I noticed that when she ran her mouth with nasty cuss words, that there was a very snotty tone. It’s clear that she wanted to compete at who was better at saying nasty things to who.
As I said, I talked to a few other people afterwards and they said that they said she probably got nasty because she’s stuck up and I wasn’t going to put up with being disrespected.
