I've been curious as to what the next line after an initial hello or hi for others is? 😊
I'll go first
I usually start with a "How's it going today?"

I love this method of letting the person know how long the conversation can last.

Of course! I feel that if the user doesn't know how long the chat will actually last, they might feel abruptly dropped at the end and never want a member to feel worst.

I like this because it's neutral yet inviting. I try to avoid saying "how are you" and stuff like that initially because in my experience, most people are reaching out because they are not doing to great so it's kinda moot to even ask. Saying somthing like "what brings you here today?" Leaves it open to get right into their problem if they are ready to share.
Thats just what I do anyway.
