is it normal to get weird members dm me ?

so i'm a newbie and recently i've noticed that some of the members reaching out to me are weird but like the bad kind of weird...(hope you understand what i mean) and so i was wondering if that happens to you some of you listeners too?
is it my profile that is not appropriate or ? because it makes me really uncomfortable opening up the app and reading really inappropriate messages that i wish i could unsee...
is there something i can do to prevent those people from texting me ?
Hey, I just started out yesterday and I can confirm that I've had to deal with 5 out of 9 people I listened to being inappropriate. As far as I know, it's very random so I don't think you're doing anything wrong. I usually ask them to stop, tell them it's against guidelines here and if they continue to be inappropriate, I block and report them. Please make sure not to lose your cool and curse (cuz it will be flagged by the system). I'm sorry you had to go through this rough experience as well. Take care of yourself <3
