something i've been thinking about is how we are all truly strangers to one another on here, and how that's both good and bad. for one, it helps everyone be completely honest - it fosters a space without judgement. so hopefully, anyone who is struggling with something - whether it be big or small - feels safe enough to communicate their thoughts and emotions with 100% honesty. on the other hand, anonymity sometimes removes responsibility. we don't know the person we are talking to, whether they are listening or speaking, and because we don't know them, we will always be one step removed from helping them. meaning, there is no consequence if you don't accept the responses from the listener. or, there is no consequence if you, as the listener, stop listening and log off forever.
