does anyone else struggle with thoughts going thru your head all the time.
like it never stops and it’s so loud i have to listen to music to just shut it up but i caht iisten to music at school so now i’m failing
what do i do?
@kierab2009
Using music to cope is a good coping mechanism. But, I do see how it would be hard listen to at school. Have you ever tried writing or journaling? Personally, I’ve really found it help because it helps as a means to let everything out.💜
@kierab2009 I hate that this happened to you and your family. I am so so sorry but thank you so much for sharing
I relate so hard and i use music too to silence them.
Reading usually works too
Or just focusing on something else like a movie or my breathing
Good luck, my friend. Let me know if it gets better, as I struggle so hard with it myself :)

at school what worked for me was taking breaks like going to the toilet or just go breath fresh air for some minutes, as I noticed my thoughts are often racing when I'm particularly stressed. Let me know if this could work for you
Hi @kierab2009 I'm very sorry that you experience something inconvenient :(
I am one of the many people who experience Overthinking as well, sometimes I can't sleep well at night, and when I got overthinking, I'm doing relaxation Techniques such as Jin Shin Jutsu (Finger Hold Technique, 4-7-8 Breathing, Grounding technique, and butterfly hug. You can try to browse in Youtube on how to do it, or PM me also :)
@kierab2009 this might not work for you but it works for me but constantly staying busy. when you are in school do extra homework in your downtime when you are at home picking up a new hobby or going to the gym it never entirely goes away but keeps it at bay for a while and can make you enjoy life a little bit more. like I said though this might not work for everyone it doesn't hurt to try :)
