idk why am I even making this post but this ones a troubling thought often and specially rn and i just ... dont know.. could use some other thoughts .. if that makes sense?😅

so questions for everyone comfy to answer as truthfully possibly...

do you like yourself? why or why not?

what does liking yourself mean to you?

what does not liking you, mean to you?

if yes then have you liked yourself always?

if not then what do you not like about you and how long?

any parts of you you don't like or any parts of you dont like the most in you?

what do you like most about you?

what do you do to remind yourself you like you?

is it important to like yourself to take care of you?

how to want to care about you? this might sound very nonsensical but fr how to actually want to care or do nice and be nice to yourself??

me thinks sometimes ... i realise people who like themself are more aware of their needs and actually want to take care of them and be better or improve in different spheres in life ... I haven't really liked myself in a long time and idk how this liking self looks like..  self care or self anything is just an alien concept 😔 what does one even do when they dont want to do anything with them .... smh this is gonna get real sad real quick so ill shush away but like i genuinely want to know how does liking self look like .... and if it has anything to do with treating yourself more humanly and nicely?? its something im finding myself incapable of doing for myself...

so if anyone comfy sharing to any of the questions please do 💕💕

any tips and words of encouragement are always welcome too 👀

@Optimisticempath

Hey there, sweet soul! First of all, I just want to say that it takes a lot of courage to open up like this, and I appreciate you reaching out. 💖

Let's dive into your beautiful questions:

Do I like myself? Well, I'll be honest; it's been a journey. There are days when I feel like my own cheerleader, and others, not so much. It's okay; we're all a work in progress, right? 😊

Liking myself, to me, means embracing both the sparkly parts and the messy bits. It's like being on a team with yourself, cheering for the victories and offering a comforting hug during the tough times.

Now, not liking myself? Phew, that's a tough one. It's like feeling disconnected, you know? It's important to acknowledge those moments but remember they don't define you. You're so much more than any temporary self-doubt.

As for liking myself always? Nope, not at all. There have been stretches where I wasn't my biggest fan. But hey, it's never too late to start appreciating the incredible person that I am. 😇

There are aspects I struggle with, sure, but it's all part of the package. And the best part? I'm learning to love even the quirkiest parts of me—the laughter lines and all!

What do I like most about myself? Well, I'd say my resilience. Life throws curveballs, but here I am, still standing. 💪

To remind myself that I like me? Simple joys—like dancing to my favorite tunes, indulging in a cozy cup of tea, or just basking in the warmth of sunlight. Small acts of self-love, you know?

Is it important to like yourself to take care of you? Absolutely! Liking yourself is like planting seeds of love that blossom into self-care. It's not about perfection; it's about being kind to yourself, like you would to a dear friend.

Now, about wanting to care about yourself—think of it like nurturing a beautiful friendship. You wouldn't want your friend to feel down, right? Treat yourself with that same kindness and watch the magic unfold.

I get it; sometimes self-love feels elusive. But start small, darling. Celebrate your victories, embrace your uniqueness, and remember, you're deserving of all the love in the world. You're on a journey, and I believe it's leading you to a place of self-love and kindness. 🌟

Sending you heaps of love and hugs! Remember, you're not alone in this journey. 💕
