Feel behind in life

I'm struggling to move out my parents house and find roommates to live with. Why is trying to find roommates to live with so hard? I'm so tired of my parents. I'm struggling to know who I am as a person because of my focus on my work and needing to help my parents out around the house since I am living with them.
I feel as if I'm behind in life and feel like I'm supposed to have my life together by now as someone in her late 20s.

Everyone's path is different and roommates are not all fun and great either..
when ever someone says they are behind i have to ask who is keeping score ?
there are people in their 40s or later with it not together ......... expecting all would be set by now is not realistic.
