I know lately I haven't been feeling great but today I had a really bad depression relapse and it makes angry. 'Cause it's like all the good work I've done these last years disappeared like nothing.

@Tenri

Dealing with a depression relapse can be challenging and frustrating, especially when you feel like all the progress you've made is undone. It's important to remember that depression is a treatable condition, and relapses are a common part of the recovery process. Here are a few tips that may help you cope :

Reaching out for support : Don't be afraid to reach out to friends and loved ones for support. Talking to someone you trust can help you process your feelings and provide you with a sense of comfort.

Talking to your therapist or doctor : If you're experiencing a relapse, it's important to let your therapist or doctor know. They can help you adjust your treatment plan and provide additional support.

Practising self-care: Make sure you are taking care of yourself physically and emotionally. This might include getting enough sleep, eating well, exercising, and engaging in activities that you enjoy.

Engaging in activities that bring you pleasure : Engage in activities you enjoyed before, and try new activities that you think may bring you pleasure.

Being patient with yourself : Remember that relapses are a normal part of the recovery process and that it takes time to heal. Be patient with yourself and try not to get discouraged.

Recovery from depression is a journey, and it's important to take it one day at a time. Remember to be kind to yourself and to reach out for help when you need it. With time, patience, and the right support, you can get through this relapse and continue to make progress in your recovery ❤️

@Tenri,

Hey there, relapse is a huge blow. How are you doing? It can arise some strong emotions in us. I know it does seem like all your efforts has gone vein. Please try to remind yourself that it hasn't. You have learned a lot about your issues and even more about how to tackle it. You have also been successful in doing so !!! Sometimes we may have to take plenty of steps back. Maybe we might feel that we didn't do our best. But we are still in control , we can try again eventually.

@Tenri,

Yeah, it hard to believe. Especially when it all seems like a mess right now. It's always bad before it gets better. Had I been in your shoes I would have felt the same. However knowing that it's true for others though you can't believe it makes this more bearable. I am happy you feel a little better. Because no matter how small or big, progress is definitely progress.

Depression isn't a substance you abuse. Depression occurs when you feel hopeless about something. What do you feel hopeless to change? Listen to what its trying to tell you. Dont try to defeat it like a monster. It is screaming out at you to listen
