I’m confused about how/what I’m feeling
Okay so I’m not sure how to explain it, but I’ll try my best. I've been feeling quite anxious lately, and have just been really down. The feeling I'm unsure about happens specifically when I'm talking to people and they ask me how I'm doing. Obviously I'm not going to dump my problems on them, so I'll just say "I'm doing pretty good" or something similar. However when I lie about how I'm feeling I get some sort of feeling in my chest that spreads through my arms to my fingers, occasionally down my legs to my toes. It doesn't hurt really, it's just strange. Like something’s squeezing my arms and/or legs like a tube of toothpaste. Idk it's weird and I can't understand it. What do you think?
And it only happens when talking to certain people, like my one friend who I'm really close to and my boyfriend.
The feeling also happens when they message me (this all happens over text) and I don't feel like responding, and I can tell they're worried about me (repeatedly messaging me/asking if Im okay).
This feeling also happens when I’m just generally thinking about my negative feelings, or am having negative thoughts. I talked to a listener about it on here and they suggested its anxiety, but Im not sure if that’s all that’s going on. I haven’t been diagnosed with anything before either, I’ve never been assessed by a professional. Although according to online quizzes I have high stress and anxiety levels and suffer from depression and adhd (obviously not self-diagnosing, online quizzes are stupid lol).
Anyways Im not going to bore you any longer, Im just looking to see if anyone has any ideas what this toothpaste tube-like feeling is. Thanks for your time :)

i think some feelings happen that differ among people ........so many may not understand yours..... even if you were to seek out help.
Maybe it is your body wanting you to unload your real feelings instead of the " i am fine line" if it happens with close people your sub conscience could be urging you to open up.
example when i have a decision to make and i am torn my right hand sometimes feels like it is asleep and will not shake that tingle feeling .... i have concluded over the years of observation........it is some sort of intuition to say whatever choice that makes that happen in hand is the wrong one.
this is not fool proof but i think i believe in it and i run about 95% accuracy in this advance warning system LOL
