I really need a good mother-figure in my life.
It's something I've been craving for a long time because I was (still am) lonely. (Also, sorry if this has been posted before, I couldn't find the original thread)
@Dentarook
Dear Dentarook,
I am sorry you didn't have the mother figure you wished in your life. Unfortunatelly, we cannot choose our parents. The good news is that we can use the experience we have gained from our relationships in order to, at one day, be the kind of parent we want to be. And not just parent, but who we want to be in life as individuals, how we want to make others feel... The decision lies in your hands. You have the power to use your originally bad experiences in order to learn something and create something beautiful and positive. I truly believe in this with my whole heart. We cannot know what is beautiful if we haven't experienced the ugly, the suffering.
