I want to move on

How do I stop caring about someone who cut me off without a word? It's been too long for me to still be holding on to this... all I ever did for this person is care and they left, and I still want to reach them but I can't...

You have a caring nature, that's why. Where to draw the line is being careful who you commit to. That's where the learning is.

There's nothing wrong with YOU.

Its hard to suddenly stop caring but instead you can stop reacting. What I mean is your heart will still care but your head can step in and stop the emotion hurting you. It takes time though and it's easy for me to write words but time will help. It sounds like you deserve better anyway than someoen that could just do this :(

@thoughtfulSpruce437 It's all right to care but caring for the wrong person can take a huge toll on you. It's hard to accept that they've moved on when you haven't but you have to think about yourself, your own happiness. You should prove you yourself that you are complete without that person.

From my own experience, it really helped to have one last talk with that person. It helped me to understand their point of view and that it was better we parted ways. It took a lot of courage and it hurt like a bitch, yes, but after that, I felt freer.

Hope this helped. I wish you'll feel better soon.

@blacknaive08 shes not willing to talk, she did finally tell me what was going on and I understand but when I finally told her how her unresponsiveness made me feel she blocked me again. I just really dont know what I can do at this point, I dont think there is anything I can do...except let go and move on with my life :(

First, you must recognize that you're attachment to another is amplified by the insecurities you harbor. You must accept this, and then you must forgive yourself. Instead of trying to gain the approval of another, approve of yourself, and practice loving yourself with positive affirmations and positive imagination. Once you fully accept and love yourself, the approval of another will have little to no effect on your peace of mind, and your deepest desires will attract to you magnetically.

I cutoff someone without a word because that person crossed his boundaries indicating we had more than friendship... I didn't want that.. But now the guilt is ripping me apart.. We were friends.. I didn't want to hurt him..but that's exactly what i did in the end... Its been 4 months but I'm still feeling guilt like a weight on my heart.. I don't want to talk to him.. I told him i will not be talking again.... But sometimes i fear that i will be overwhelmed by my emotions and would have to go back to him... I don't want that
