Saundays
Every Sunday I'm left sitting in my bed, unable to focus on school, unable to really comprehend my reading, and constantly wanting to eat. The motivation to leave my room just gets lower and lower as the day goes on. I search the internet for strategies and stories to get through this time, but I end up getting more upset?less happy with myself?and developing an even deeper hatred for my own being. My creativity is missing, my adventurousness is gone, and my personality is lacking. I feel like I'm unable to socialize with anybody new or even talk to my friends the way I need to.I'm desperate for something to change me and help me become a person I am happy to be.
Hey Kea, just laying in bed gives you time to focus on negative things. What are your friends doing on Sunday? Maybe you could get together with them and do something. If its not too cold, go outside and take a walk. One time, my job took me to New Jersey, a friend and I could see New York city from where we were. We decided to make our way there to go and look around. One place we went to was Central Park. It was a nice sunny day and people were out there laying around on blankets like they were at the beach. If you have somewhere you could do that, get some of your friends together and pack a lunch. Spending that time with your friends or even just being out in the sunlight will do you some good.
