Week of 5/22/2015
Each Friday I will start a new thread for the week as a place to vocalize your SMART goals and to ask for and receive support. Developing a goal that you can achieve is as simple as 1-2-3.
Specific: it is important to be very specific when setting goals in order to insure success. For instance if you say, "im going to exercise more," there is no way to capture your success. However if you say, "im going to go to the gym 3 times this week for 45 minutes each," you will easily identify if you have reached your goal.
Measureable: you always want to be able to measure your success. Specific numbers help with measurements. 80% of the time, 3 times, etc....
Achievable: you always want to make sure your goal is achievable. For instance if you work full time and go to school you want to avoid setting a goal like going out with my friends every night because it is not likely that you can accomplish that.
Realistic: this is similar to achuevable. Think about your goal and if its something realistic for your to achieve in the time frame you are allowing.
Timely: weekly or month,y goals are easily broken down which makes the big pictureeasier.

My goal for this week is to make drs appts with two of my drs by the end of the week and to follow through with scheduled appointments.
How are you doing with this weeks goal, @Angelwings2
Hi! Is this post still active? I have some goals too - should I share it here or with someone in the community?
@SpringAutum I'd be happy to support you in your goals, if you feel like sharing.
My goal is to exercise daily.
@TheSeer do you have put a plan into place that might make it easier to reach our goal? For example, find a work out partner or set a specific time to do this?
My goal is to move from Discoverer to Advanced before the end of the week.
I want to be more consistent with my exercise routine - I want to start up my P90X vidoes again, specifically the cardio and ab videos. I want to also get a jumpstart on studying for the GRE, yikes! So I'd like to study about an hour a day this week.
my SMART goal of this week is to phone for free therapy and to refill my perscription....
My goal is to make three phone calls aimed at finding a new project for work.
