23F. I grew up knowing I had OCD Depression Anxiety & PTSD. But recently my therapist and physicians have determined I am also ADHD & Autistic. It has been a huge help and relief and I've made so much progress since my diagnosis but it's also been really overwhelming processing it and trying to accept it. Has anyone else (particularly women or girls) found out they were Autistic or ADHD late in life? I've got follow up questions because this is causing a whole identity crisis and alot of unsurity of how to move forward...

@BubbleGumSunshine I got my official ASD diagnosis a year ago. It's a late diagnosis for me. I don't think it will trigger an identity crisis in me just by finding out why I am what I am. It has certainly prompted me to interpret my life story differently. I have a teaching background and I worked in the non-profit sector for half a decade. From now on, I am going to use my lived experience to empower my futer. More and more I am becoming interested in learning how to do self advocacy and design accessible services/products for people with various needs. Disability is a superpower word to my ears.
