Carrying on...
I've tried to kill myself several times. I've promised my dad I wouldn't ever again, but I don't know how to carry on... Therapy costs too much, I can barely afford the medication... What do I do?
I would try to surround myself with supportive people, that would be my first action. I hope that things lighten up real soon xxx
Agreed - seeking a community of support is a good first step and then leaning on them when you need it. You can also always reach out to other resources, like imalive.org or suicidestop.com
I had to start reading about suicidal near death experiences. They changed my mind. Plz talk to someone. I can listen if you would like.
I've tried therapy and nothing seems to have changed. Every time I seems doctor he either increases my dosage or changes my medication. I just feel so bad for my family having to put up with me... Even my grandma said to my mum the other day she was worried about me. I. A disappointment. Why couldn't I be made normal?
I think the way we are is actually the norm. I have battled depression all my life and have tried to commit suicide several times. I dont want to share what I saw in my close attempts because most ppl dont believe me but seriously, you need a good friend and a plan. When im so depressed and cant function, I take a bath and play games on my phone. You are NOT a burden. This is not your fault. It happens to many of us. What is your diagnosis?
Generalisedanxiety, social anxiety, depression and paranoia. My parents act as if I'm making a mounting out of a molehill and make it seem like I'm causing problems just for the fun of it. They don't understand, no one does
Are you a hermit? I hate leaving my house for any reason. What meds do you take? What are you paranoid about? That I dont think I have experienced...except always thinking are talking bad about me. And so what if your making a molehill...its your molehill :) whats it like talking to your parents? Im a little older, married, kids. I recently cried to my mom telling her how suicidal I felt and then she had to go. She said she was going to call me the next day, then forgot.
