Hi! Today I am here to not help myself but a best friend. She is going through something and I am not sure what. One thing I am sure of is that it's about herself and her feelings. She mentioned to me that she is in her 'dark place'

She told me on Thursday that she is going to switch off her phone to avoid socializing with anyone.

She also mentioned going to her cousin's on Friday and she was very happy about it.

I noticed changes in her on Wednesday (22/01) but I didn't ask her anything thinking that I was the one overthinking.

But my suspicions were true when she came to school on Thursday. She slept for 2 hours cause we had class tests (and she was studying for them) and she was also having a fever. To top it all off, she was also in her 'dark place'

I was beside her all day at school. I tried asking her but she didn't want to say anything. And I understand that

But I am very worried about her. I want to know what I can do for her or if there's anything I can do to help her out of her dark place.

Thank you so much for taking your time and reading this

I am grateful and I appreciate in advance to anyone who helps me out.

@politegrapes2003 When you write that she is in her dark place, it gives me the impression that being in a dark place is something that has happened to her before, and she is used to it. If that really is the situation, then I suppose she knows better than anyone else what might help.

It's possible that she feels nothing can help, and that she just has to wait it out. But if she didn't want to say anything about it when you asked her, then I don't suppose it will help her for anyone on the Internet to make guesses about it.

If she wants to she can come to 7 Cups and chat to a listener, of course, and you can also chat to a listener if you like. In a chat it would be possible to explore the situation in a lot more detail. If you'd ever like to chat to me, just click on my profile picture and message me.
