Limerence is an involuntary state of mind which results from a romantic attraction to another person combined with an overwhelming, obsessive need to have one's feelings reciprocated. I am certain I suffer from a mental illnesses that does not allow me to fully function at my optimum level. OCD being a symptom of it, not the cause. The oxytocin and dopamine being depleated in this way is exhausting to my being. I am so tired of this not being treated. ~Maria (10spiirtedteadragon)
