Looking for something other then professional help
I would like anyone to give me any suggestions or ideas on managing depression and what kind of things could help.
Anything apart from professional help which I've already received would be fully much appreciated.
@Grape thank you for reaching out to us. We're glad to be able to help you.
I'm sorry to hear about what's going on. I hope 7 cups can help you and gain that boy more confidence in yourself and supporting your son.
There is lots of support here. You can try the group chats. Any of them really have mixed conversations on different types of topics. If I had to suggest one I would say family support or disability room. They are usually ones people go to for needing help with family problems to caring for someone and supporting there condition.
If the support groups arnt any use to you, by all means come back here and create your own thread to get support for the topic you like to discuss. You can try the mental health addtional support forum, disability support form or there is a carers forum who help and support carers looking after someone and talking to those in same position.
Again if you prefer to talk one on one you can connect to a listener on the site. Listeners are thoses who are there 24/7 and seven days a week and help and listen to anything what's on your mind and there to understand and not judge.
Anything else you like to know please get back in touch here.
I hope that helps.
Look forward to hearing from you x
