Psychopathy and losing grip

Hello, I'm not quite sure where this goes so I'll put it here. I struggle with psychopathy and under most condition I can mirror/mimic other peoples actions to live a rather normal life. Until lately anyway. Everyday I'm losing a little more grip on my actions. Angry outbursts with my wife and my kids over next to NOTHING. On top of that I'm starting to have urges that are growingly hard to control. Cheating ect ect. I was hoping someone on here maybe knew how to add some more tread to those tires.

Hi. I think its wise of you to post the problem here. To reach out rather than let it fester more. Because you have kids and a wife. So you are wanting to protect them from whats going on. i personally think thats really wise and caring.

Are you in counseling? I am asking because you have the dx. So am wondering if you are currently working with the person who diagnosed you. Or if there is someone local who you are currently working with and could call. And if not and you live in the US you could call United way. They have lists of resources. I do not know where else to call. But I am sure other people here would know.

Of course writing here is a great thing to do in addition. This seems to be a good group of people. Good adjunct support.

I am a psychopath too. I am facing the same thing you are facing. I don't know right from wrong unless I mimic people. I sometimes just impulsive and I just can't care about my family so I say hurtful which I later find it unwise. My social life is unstable I build friendships and then destroy them and repeat. I am very good at making friends which is why I feel like they should be disposable after they get boring. Being a psychopath isn't always fun.

I am sorry you are dealing with such a challenging diagnosis. It must be so very difficult. Sorry if I misled you. I do not have that diagnosis. But Ican appreciate that it must be very difficult to manage. And I sure do believe you when you say it is not fun.

Is there local support of any kind? So that you can get help tonot direct things to the ones you love the most? And also so you can get some help for you? Again, I am sorry its so hard. The illness people grapple with is not their fault. So it just becomes a matter of finding ways to best manage it. Yes??
