The World Health Organization estimates that over 800,000 people die by suicide each year worldwide.
September is Suicide Prevention Awareness Month. Together, we can open up the conversation about mental health and suicide
We want to know about your Reasons to Stay. By sharing your reasons, maybe others will be inspired to find their reason to stay too.
What is your Reason to Stay?
My reason to stay would have to be, to show that no matter what youre going through in life that it will get better. I might not of believed that, and may not right now. But theres people who are looking for a reason to stay, this is it. You are cared for, people want to see you get better. You may not know or see these people but there are people out there who want to see you on the path of recovery. I know that know, after going through hell and back yet still standing. So yes this may not just be a bulleted list of reasons to stay. Theres more to this if you try to read under whats being said.

Wise words, my friend.
Reason to stay-to look after my mom and the rest of the family,to finish education and get the job of my dreams,to get my writing published globally,to continue writing on my blog(https://rhiannoncarterswebsite.home.blog),to help other people who are suffering and prevent them from ending life and to stay by the people i care about.x
At the darkest hours, what's kept me here is the pain I knew I'd cause my children if I left. That's a sort of syntatactical back flip but, there it is.
My daughter, my family, and my friends are good reasons to stick around. Then there is my faith in something beyond the concrete and physical, and the knowledge that there are still good things to do for others, enjoy and see in life. Life is short enough. After the storm passes comes the rainbow. I want to see the rainbow 🌈.

If anyone finds one, let me know😉😂😂😂
My reason to stay: Friends and family, although they can be up and down sometimes, they care for me, nonetheless. My listener friends and amazing members motivate me everyday to keep going and stay alive. They are truly amazing people who care, and I love being around. It may sound silly, but it is entirely true.
Love you guys.
Additionally, to try and follow some given up dreams of mine and show the haters they could never control my life.
I believe in purpose. There are good things to come, and never to late to make a change. I have a whole life ahead of me. It's too precious too go to waste. I'll find a way somehow to turn this into something good.
My reason to stay is because ive tried 4 times to end my life. It hasnt worked. Ive learned sometimes things arnt in our control or that honestly the effort and toll afterwards if you survive is a heavy weight to handle. to be around to see the people youve hurt. The few or many; it is difficult . To also see who does and does not actually care.
All i know is we deserve love first and foremost from ourselves. You deserve that. If you dont have your own love why should anyone else have it? Because when they leave you have nothing. It will destroy you.
So be mindful and kind to one another. Be kind to yourself .
You deserve it 💙
