I am extremely grateful for finally gaining the strength and courage to walk away from an emotionally abusive relationship of 5 years. I am also grateful for what the relationship taught me and being able to actually have that kind of insight overall. I am truly blessed. (I plan on telling my story on the proper thread so I am looking forward to sharing my story, but moreso in hopes of giving that person who is stuck there and needs the supportive validation so that one day, they too, can gain more strength and courage to be free.
