@Hope

I had a period in my life when I was really scared of mosquitoes because they can transfer so many dangerous diseases and they are very common and live in almost all countries. What is more, their whole way of living is to feed on blood so it is not unusual to be bitten by one. I find that other animals bite or hurt only when they feel threatened and most of them will not come to your home.

Dogs and roaches.

As a child, when I was playing with a few puppies on the streets, the parent dog started barking at me thinking that I might be harming its babies. I was so scared that I started crying and my uncle came and shooed them away. Since that day, I'm scared of dogs.

Similarly, my aunt's place had too many roaches in her bathroom during the rainy season and they used to fly. I was in 3rd grade at that time and being exposed to flying roaches at such a tender age is a sure way of being phobic of it.
