Expressing Gratitude Through Mindfulness and Meditation

Hey all,

I've noticed that, overall, a state of meditation usually produces more pointed feelings of gratitude. I think this is because when I'm just observing my thoughts I'm also able to connect more deeply with them as well.

There is a specific meditation that I do called "loving kindness." It has you go through specific people in your life, even (and especially) the ones that are more difficult to get along with. This process has produced incredible results for me in fostering gratitude (and even forgiveness) towards some of those difficult individuals.

And honestly? I couldn't be more thankful. :)

@soulsings

Thank you very much for the resources! I agree; I feel like being mindful to be grateful is a great way to start our days. I also feel like there is somewhat of a symbiotic relationship between mindfulness and gratitude--they both seem to complement the other.

What do you think?
