What are you thankful for today?
Some days, we feel like there are a lot of things to be thankful for.
And other days, we feel like there is absolutely nothing to be thankful for.
But even if you can't actively see something that you should be thankful for, the small things matter too. Try writing what you are thankful for even if you have to struggle to find something. There is something everyone is thankful for no matter how minute.
What are you thankful for?

Today I am thankful for the indoor heating that helps to keep me warm in this cold winter. I'm amazed sometimes at the kinds of things that I take for granted at times in my life. But as soon as they're gone (like in a power outage), I get a stark reminder of just how much the quality of my life is impacted by modern conveniences.
@sereneSunset26 Beautifully put. I agree, I'm very grateful for modernization, especially modern improvements in medical treatment and all the advancements which gives us all the conveniences today.

Modern medical improvements literally saved my life, so I hear you there. I was actually born 3 months premature, so I was saved by medicine in the beginning. More recently, I had my gallbladder out 8 years ago, and I was in and out the same day via laparoscopy and was pretty much fine by the weekend.
So again, I definitely owe thanks.
@sereneSunset26 oh wow. Modern medicine is definitely a lifesaver. I'm glad you are okay. You are amazing!
@comfortableNight4463
Thank so much!! That is a humbling compliment, and I would say the same for you as well. :)
@sereneSunset26 Thank you so much!

I'm thankful for this thread to inspire me to see the positive side of things, even in such a challenging time in the world.
I'm thankful that I have a roof over my head, enough food to eat, and a good job.
I'm thankful that I have a family who loves me, and for modern technology that keeps me connected to them even when they're far away.
I'm thankful that I have a healthy body that should - if all goes well - let me keep enjoying this world for a couple more decades.
I'm thankful that I have a brain that's capable of more than I give it credit for sometimes.
