an appreciation story

before we start, it'd be really appreciated if you could check out this clip!! (i promise it's really short -- it's less than a minute) also, this one's a great clip as well -- it's less than two minutes.

hey hi hello!! here we're going to play a small appreciation game, and this is how it works:

i. think of something you appreciate; just one thing. it can be anything -- yourself, the book lying right next to you, the existence of penguins (i overuse penguin gifs honestly); as long as you're grateful for it, you're good to go!
ii. now, look at the other replies in this thread. please remember that upvotes often make someone's day!!
iii. using the person or thing you had in mind, create a paragraph to continue the story. after you reply, put in brackets, a different colour, just something signifying a change why you appreciate this person/thing! if you feel that's too personal, feel free to just leave this out and give a brief description of the person/thing you've chosen.
iv. but there's a twist!! you cannot name the object you are grateful for, and others must guess it.

i'm hoping that through not naming things, we think more about what others have said in an attempt to guess what they appreciate. hopefully this will help all of us realise the many things we appreciate and learn how to adapt that into our lives!!
