I've learned that it's ok to be different and damaged.
Scars, being them physical or psychological, are the one thing that should help you move on, because they're the proof that you might have been through hell, but somehow you managed to survive... and that's bravery.
@soulfullgirl97 thank you for share it with us <3
we are proud of your progression, i hope you are proud of yourself too
Well I made it step 10, I am not sure what that really means but I am learning to trust in myself, no matter how lonely I am. I am trying to step outside my comfort zone and love everyone for who they are starting with myself.
@selfconfidentBeechwood6851 wow! that is wonderful! but never forget that you are not alone here on 7cups! we all are with you
that is very nice to see your progression. don't give up, you are amazing.
Be calm
@discreetApple3218 sounds like a good feeling to have
Step #76. I've learned that I can get back on the path even if I have strayed from it for a couple months.
@macabreMusician yep! growth path is amazing, but its ok to take a break, important is continue to take care of yourself.
Step 130 ~ Day 24
I am learning SO much on this step-by-step journey! What stands out to me, growth-wise, at this particular point is how much I have to offer others.
When I started 7 Cups just 24 days ago, I felt like just one big conglomerate of problems. I could probably set some sort of record in the
Guinness Book of World Records for being the individual with the most DSM designations. (Not joking 😕) But, my steely determination and tenacious spirit have worked to help me overcome so many hurdles, disorders, addictions, and manage my symptoms of syndromes.
And, now instead of seeing myself as just one-huge-heck-of-a-mess...I see that I am strengthened by fighting all these battles. And, with all that strength, I can now stretch myself and reach out to others. I have wisdom, insight, understanding, encouragement, validation, compassion, hands to pat someone on the back with, ears to listen, and a shoulder for someone to cry on. I have value...that is the lesson I'm learning on my hike up all these steps.
I am learning to love my body and my mind and know that love of another will be with me someday.
@selfconfidentBeechwood6851 good job!
Im actually thinking that life is a cycle that keeps following the same path....which you can lead or keep apart
that its ok to be sad sometimes
@blueYard2804 yes it is, and express this sadness is important too
