I was eating clean most of the day. Baby steps until I reach what I need.
Just reached my first "milestone." The following is the most important thing I've learned
I have learned to be grateful for even the smallest of things. It is the little things in life that count. Enough little things put together are, after all, a big thing.
@ailishdancing1313
I totally agree, the little things are far more powerful and rewarding than the big things in life, one day we all realise when we look back just how important the small things are!
Congratulations on reaching your milestone, Keep going strong dear!
Take care
I don't feel like I learned anything :(
I've learned that I need to find time within the day to recollect myself in order to really be taking care of myself like I should.
I'm only on #20. I haven't gone very far very fast.
but the #1 thing I've learned so far is that it really helps to take 3-5 minutes out of your day to center yourself and just breathe! meditation is super helpful especially living with depression and anxiety because it helps get you out of your head and into the moment.
I have finally worked out how to get a 1-1 listener, and found one that I clicked with. It is amazing how much talking with someone can help -especially when they don't judge or not believe you. (This one only judges when I ask for her feedback or personal opinion on something, and if she doesn't 100% believe me because a lot of my stuff is rather weird, she believes that I am telling a truth that I believe and works accordingly).
Reached step 220! What does that mean? Well, nothing by itself but what have I learned from 7-cups! A ton!
Thus far, I have used 7-cups to help me overcome some minor OCD and I am making solid progress. So odd we are. I understand sacrifice and I know that things take time. To earn your degree it takes 4 years. A doctorate with a strong research element can take 5 to 7 years. To learn some skills can take a few years. We are patient and understand these things.
On the other hand, to develop a great body, we want that instantly without work. Take two tablets of this and three tablets of that and drink this powder and then exercise a little. We are not looking like Hulk in a week or two and we are fed-up. We try something else.
We have anxiety and keep changing the things that are helping us slowly. We are overly eager to 'get better'. We try one thing, buy another, talk to one therapist, work with another in a week, leave that one in a month and turn to another and we always end up starting at the same place (more or less) having to work through the same things and we just do not recover in the manner we want to. We want an 'instant fix' and we are not prepared to work to beat illnesses or break bad habits and so they remain.
Well, I guess everything has its time for each person. I just decided that I was going to take 7-Cups seriously (I guess it was my time for that) and I am just doing it and really really getting great results. It is my time and I am happy I have a structured system to help me with it.
I reached level #30 and I have learned that I still hold on to a great deal of anger and sorrow. My anger is mostly about other people no longer in my life some living some passed. I wish it was as easy to do when people say "just let it go." I enjoy the breathing exercises and try them on my own but it is challenging because I mind wanders so easily and I try to focus on my breathes but it is hard when I am drawn to my anger and frustration. I know it is all my doing holding on to this but it has taken a long time to get to this point of not being as angry as I was before. Each day is a little better and a little better.
I've learned self-compassion is key.
@stillthemind
Absolutely!!!!! Be kind to yourself, respect yourself and love yourself! Others will follow suit!

Never try to return to the past. What was wrong there is still wrong now. It wont change.
Reached 310 today
That's brilliantly put @Kuvira654! The past is to stay put, just where it is, well said!
