I love the Mindfulness activity. I miss doing the activities that I used to do.
@tidyTangerine2926, I hope you'll find more time in your days to enjoy the thing you love ^^; Have you checked the Mindfulness Practices section in the forum, e.g. this post full of various resources? I think it may interest you. All the best!
@tidyTangerine2926 - I'm glad you enjoyed the activity so much!:)
Others feel this way. The steps I am taking are the right ones. I will get through this. Focus on the positive. Remember I have things to be grateful for.
@straightforwardStrawberries7577, I also believe you will get through this. You've already overcome so much in your life. Best wishes ❤️
Step 50: Learning to give of myself when I feel I have nothing, to prove that I was never really empty.
@HereForTheCoffee, that's a great achievement! I'm proud of you, lovely. Wish you all the best!
well..to be honest..it didnt help at all..yet. im gonna continue, i still have faith
@deace, I'm glad to hear that, lovely. Don't give in. You're doing as best as you can.
*hugs*
@deace
Try to give it time. That's what I'm trying to do. I'm not sure if/how it's helping yet but it's definitely not harming. I enjoy the meditations & the gratitude stuff is reminding me to remember/focus on positive stuff in my left rather than dwelling/ruminating on the negatives which I have s tendency to do. Try to stick with it. Good luck.
@puddy
My LIFE not LEFT! :-)
cool
I'm new on here but I guess I came here for self-harm urges
I am learning to allow other's to help me..
@pioneeringMelon2997 learning to accept help, and eventually ask for it. is very helpful. I'm very proud of you.
I've learnt to try and keep sight of my goals, not get distracted or give up. I've learnt that it's as important to be consistent with what works as it is to be persistent.
@goldenThinker9313 that is very good :)
So, this might be weird but in my opinion it is something.
I finally found out how to describe a feeling I have in my body when I feel really sad. For a long time I struggled to even describe to myself, it was just "feeling". And today somehow it popped in my mind that this feeling as if I'm floating in water. Not sure what it means but I feel like it's a little step forward to understand what I feel better.
@ximeliuke I get how that helps, because if you don't know how you feel, it's harder to get help because you cant describe the problem, and it's harder to understand what's going on in your head. It can make it worse if you don't know what the feeling is, because sometimes you end up having a go at yourself or trying to convince yourself that the emotion isn't really there
What I've learned so far is that, I should be more positive in life....
@oingleboingle that is cool. and i think the growth path REALLY help us to become more positive.
