@GlenM......I have learnt to keep hope alive and to be strong because our weakness are actually our hidden strengths heart

Hello there!

We should never hope, and I'm really glad to hear you say that, our weaknesses can indeed be our strength. Thank you for pointing that out to me! You have given me something to think about 😀

Have a wonderful day

Level 90! I just feel a bit more alive, in a way. I started a newer job teaching at a really nice music school here in Dallas. I really like it, and while getting my studio filled may take a little bit of time, I really am enjoying it all.

I'm beginning to see and accept, that a forgotten strength earned through painful experiences, doesn't mean it's gone, just because I have times when I feel weak.

@CuriousBookworm5 Adversity and painful experiences are great teachers. They bring out the hidden strengths in us. they may boggle us down but actually they are adding strength to our personality.

Step 100.I should reward myself. smiley

My previous posts were probably a bit skeptical about having learned anything new. Yes - the exercises (e.g. gratitude/thanks and meditation in particular) seemed to help a bit but not in any dramatic way. Even if I know, deep down, that change/improvement will not be dramatic but will most likely be slow and hopefully steady. But the main thing that I realised just now - reading back over some of the other posts - is how many people posting about their own situations could be posting about mine. There are a few in particular where people mention being "lost", overwhelmed, lonely etc. and I can certainly identify and empathise with them. Unfortunately I can't as easily identify with the posts celebrating individuals' achievements or the cheesy ones that people post to encourage others. (I'm sorry to be negative about these but they just grate with me - hopefully others find them more useful). Anyway - I'm rambling (and ranting) a bit now so I'll leave it at that. Best wishes to everybody on their journeys and no offence meant to the people who post the "cheesy" stuff presumably with the best of intentions. blush

@puddy Congrats on reaching step 100!!!. As humans , most of us undergo almost similar type of situations and emotions. Some are able to express well, while others are not able to put it in words but the feelings usually are similar. And when we realise that we are not alone in our problems/situations, it gives us strength to go through the process of living. best wishes. and continue the exercises of gratitude and meditation.

Level 40, I feel like this is working. I feel less aggravated all the time. Still need to work on anxiety though.
