I've learned that I can spend some time just for myself doing "nothing conventionally productive" to relax and connect with myself

OH YES,?...... I totally agree!

Nothing better than a bit of me time, if the only thing we do is sit!

Love a bit of peace and quiet so I can reflect!

Have a wonderful day

I'm learning that no matter how heartbroken you are you still have all of your friends and family behind you waiting to catch you whenever you fall

I have learnt so far that my mond is trying to protect me but by doing so, it is making me more negative by telling me stories.

I've just hit step 10 after a down week, but I've realised that even when I'm down I'm always so grateful for my boyfriend and family. They're so supportive and loving no matter how down I am ☺️

On level 270, I have learned to take ownership of my choices. I was dreading my daily tasks. As a mom of five, it was laundry, dishes and floors to clean day after day after day. I was looking for motivation but a listener told me, just don't do it today. How simply profound! What would I do today if it was all my choice? I like to cook. Clean dishes help so those get done. I decided to go to the yarn store but needed to wait til my son finished his homeschool work. Might as well clean the floors. Later that day, I needed a shower and instead of fussing at myself for not getting one that morning or postponing til evening, I just got a quick shower. It was amazing to see how many of the limits I had put on my schedule were self-imposed. Now I am having a lot more fun with outings and crafts and amazingly getting more cleaning done. There is nothing we really HAVE to do. It's all our choice. And thought I might want to craft more than clean, cleaning enables me peace to do more crafts.

@Merryheart

I loved reading the lessons you are learning. You have great insight. I was a professional nanny for 18 years, so I can really identify with your struggle to muster up the motivation to start...and finish the utterly mudane tasks. I mostly cared for newborns, toddlers, & preschoolers, and some days I just had to say, "The hell with the 18 Cheerios and bits & pieces of Play Doh on the floor! Fresh air & a walk to the park is far more important in this moment than having foors so clean that this family could eat off of them." I applaud you for making time for things you enjoy. You will become a happier wife & mother in doing so. Keep crafting onward, Merryheart 😊
