My depression doesn't have to define my personality. It has for so long, but one day I'll get better. One day I'll figure out which parts are me and which parts are the depression keeping me from myself.

#1 thing I've learned so far is that what I'm feeling is important, even if I feel like it isn't. Since it is bothering me then it has reason to why it's on my mind.

I've learned that I'm a very proud and grudgeful person, but unless I learn to forgive people, including those who have really hurt not only me but those who I'm close to, then I will never be able to truly help anyone. And forgiveness doesn't necessarily mean absolution of wrongs. It means not seeking revenge, as I'm so prone to do.

The beginning is always the hardest part, somehow though, we're always at the beginning but we keep going.
