I feel weak because just getting to this level was difficult, but I also feel strong because I did it. Hoping to make more progress soon...

@GlenM

Just finished #20 on my beginners path, feeling optimistic. I've learned that meditation honestly is a beautiful and completely useful tool in order to relax and bring yourself in the moment. I've been using it more frequently to help my anxiety and how wired my mind seems to always be

Sometimes you think you have all the answers and no problems can stop you, but unfortunately bad things will allways affect us and put us down. The solution is just to pick yourself up and continue your way.

I've learned that I use my depression to avoid other unpleasant feelings, such as anxiety or nervousness. The other evening/night, I had a great deal of anxiety over an issuge that I needed to resolve with someone. Rather than allowing myself to sink deeper into depression so that I could feel the numbness or at least the familiar sadness, I chose to face that anxiety and work through it. I used the excess energy to accomplish some chores around the house. I couldn't eat or relax. My stomach still churned and my hands still shook. I cried buckets. But I did it. I was able to resolve the issue the next morning with some moral support from my mom. I feel better and stronger. Maybe I will be able to tackle the next thing and the next and the next growing a bit stronger each time. I know I won't be perfect, but that's OK. I don't have to be. I am stronger that I have allowed myself to be. I like the way that feels, and I don't want to continue to shield myself with my depression. It doesn't really work anyway. The issues are still there until I deal with them. Here's to a better week!

i got to level 10 and i think this app will help a lot with my depression. even though it's gone on for a while and it's gotten bad, I'm printing out happy pictures and putting them on my wall right now to help myself stay positive:)
