maybe life will get better
@cactusboy
Life will get better for sure. The dark clouds of despair n grief will be gone and you'll see the refreshing sunlight again in your life. I wish you good luck n have faith.
One thing I think I've learned or have become more aware of is how much time and energy I've been put into avoiding my problems. I've always known that I've tried to avoid my emotions, but I didn't realize how much of my life is centered on running from them. Now I just have to fix that somehow.
@huggerofcats
Accepting our problems and solve them on our own is really brave. You're an amazing person. You can do it. I know you can 😄
@GlenM to be myself and not be afraid to do so
@finnick1217
It's hard being vulnerable, and opening yourself up fully. Thank you for having the courage to be yourself. :)
@GlenMWell, I guess that I've learnt that you should try and make the first samll steps for your recovory, no matter how hard they are, because It's you who has to start making you feels good again.
@aglassofmilk
That's a huge step. <3 We are responsible for ourselves in the end, and even though that can be scary, it's also amazing that we have this control over ourselves. Keep going. You just got started, and you're going to do well in your recovery. :)
I've learned that I can fight my urge to self harm, and that I feel so much better when I dont.
@HannahHarmon You and only you can do it.... Cheers for you😘😘
I am happy... And that's enough.👼
@CreativeCar5398
*hugs* I'm glad you can be satisfied with your current happiness and it's wonderful that you are happy. :)
At step 130 now - I've learned to celebrate my achievements and I've been spending more time taking care of my own health and spending time with friends. :)
@NavySodium
Fantastic job getting to step 130! :D Your achievements deserve recognition, it wouldn't be fair to you otherwise. :) Sounds like you're doing what you need to to take care of yourself, so thumbs up. :D
I've learned that there will never be enough time, even if whomever was still there, you will never be satisfied with the amount of time you have.
@PrincessofGames
No, there never will be as much time with someone as we would want there to be. I hope that whoever it was, some day you'll be able to look back and appreciate the memories you do have with them. *hugs* Take care.
@guidingMusic thank you so much for your kind words. I've lost so many important people and animals. It never gets easier be a use you will always still care.
@PrincessofGames
Yeah. *hugs* I don't doubt that every time it happens, it'll still sting and be raw. But you'll get through it at least, you really will. You may never completely stop caring, but maybe time can help heal. You still remain.
Hi Everyone, I have reached step 170. Something I learned that is valuable is to get in touch with my higher self. When things go wrong, I tend to blame myself.
I volunteer to take tombstone pictures, and the other day I found an angel:

@alonesomeryder
Ooh, that's very nice. o: Looks like someone left that angel statue on the tombstone.
You can't always be responsible for everything going wrong around you, especially if others are the ones doing things. <3 I hope it helps for you to get in touch with your higher self. It's very nice to see you reflecting on the things you've been doing in this thread. :) Take care. Thank you for sharing this picture with us.
