I learned that I just need to trust God.
@WhiteBearClub That's very true . :)
I've learnt that I can enjoy time to myself and I don't feel as lonely as I thought I would :)
@SamiHall
Nice, being able to spend time with yourself is a spectacular thing. :) I hope eventually you'll be able to enjoy time spent with both yourself and others. Keep going. :D
@GlenM loving yourself is very important... but it's very hard to achive it :/
@CookieTheCat
It can be hard to achieve, but that's okay. <3 It'll come in bits and pieces. It's possible. Hope there are people there for you in the meantime. ^^
@GlenM I'm having a hard time with this... I guess it kinda calms me down a little... But I just go straight back to how I feel normally.. I guess I don't know if I'll ever be able to get over my anxiety....
@TremblingAnxiety
There is no magical cure, no instantaneous solution many times, it's just a process. Your anxiety may never go away completely, but there is the possibility of it getting better, with practice, therapy, maybe even medicine. I don't know what'll work for you, but there's the chance. I'm glad this site and whatever 'it' is can help you even temporarily.
Take care, I hope you'll hold on.
@GlenM I've learned that if I don't like my life, I must find out which kind of life I want and work towards it. Starting now. And the first step in that path is trying to spend time doing the things I like instead of overthinking the ones I don't.
@peachHouse8806
Sounds like a plan. I'm glad you're slowly figuring out the direction you want your life to go in. :)
Healing takes time. When a wave of anxiety and panic hits, I now know that I can get through. I can remember that it will end and I will come out the other side.
@Healingslow
You have and you will. :) I hope you'll keep it in mind for as long as it helps. Take care. ^^
Gratitude is important to help focus on the positives.
@vivaldi4
Yeah it certainly can be. :D Here's to all the positives in our lives which can be there. :)
To believe in me
@Mayankj429
I'm glad this is something you're doing now. <3
@GlenM
I have learnt that I only control my own decisions and those are the ones I am responsible for. I accept myself. I am not responsible for my family not accepting me no matter how much it hurts.
@EgyptianLady
I imagine it hurts, to not be accepted by your family. And it is true, you are responsible solely for your own actions, and for the most part not those of others. I wish you strength on your journey. Take care.
What has really clicked the most for me is the need to set boundaries. I have a terrible habit of allowing people to walk all over me, out of fear they will be upset or angry with me.. Which in turn lowers my self esteem, and since I feel worthless I don't see a reason to set boundaries.. Its a never ending cycle that I am learning to break.
@Introvert1190
First, it's really good that you've recognized this cycle and how you experience it personally. And it's even better that you're doing what you can to break it now. :D Keep up the good work.
