Try to overcome fearful thoughts with realistic ones. Fear drains energy. Fear clouds real judgment, fear holds back a person from moving forward. This will be a work in progress.

April 22nd, 2016

@Birdwatching

It always is. A work in progress that is. Fear might not dissappear completely or forever but there's a way to look past it.

This has been so helpful, I have learned so much about myself already. I am noticing my automatic negative thoughts now that I have a name for them. I feel like I am learning so many things about myself and what motivates me to do some of the things I do. I am also beginning to not judge these things. I see that I do have an issue with boundaries, I have fears that I didnt realize I had and now I see why I act so crazy at times I now feel that I will be able to 1 continue to grow, 2 recognize when I'm out of control and be able to stop it or ease it at the very least. I feel stronger today then I have in a very long time. Thank you 7cups

@LoriT526

Wow, that's lot of increase in recognizing flawed thinking and acknowledging your problen areas. It's a testament to you too and your willingness to be self aware. I'm glad you've found 7 Cups a useful catalyst for thay process. :) Take care.

Today I freely spoke out in a group chat about how I was feeling... I am unable to do this around people that know me. But I've learnt I can open up here to people who seem to understand, say the right thing, actually have time and don't judge me as though I have some sort of disease! So thank you 7 cups. I've had a nice chat with a couple of people.

I've realized that recovery is not a simple process. It takes effort every step of the way and I have leared my boundaries.

April 22nd, 2016

@Control19

It does take effort. And it's pretty important to understand boundaries, so great job. :) I wish you strength in your recorvery.
