I've learned that if I try to eliminate negativity I will find it harder when it creeps in. I need to find a balance. Accept that there will be sad times and flembrace the happy

I've learned that was well as keeping myself busy, I also need to take moments to rest.

I've learned the importance of creating my own narrative. The power of words.

I learned to trust God in a way i never thought i could, full Surrender. In exchange i found focus, learned patience, and he gave me his peace. I am grateful to God.

Reached step 570... I had a breakdown last weekend... A friend came over to be with me... She talked about finding that thing to hang on to... That thing that gets you out of bed... That keeps you going... No matter how silly or simple it is. And to me in the depths of my breakdown that sounded daunting and unattainable. Because depression seeps into even the things that you enjoy and takes the joy away from it. But I've found that to be a constant theme in this journey... That you have to have that thing to hold on to.

Sometimes it's been just a cup of coffee in the morning. Sometimes it's been the gym. Sometimes it's music. Sometimes it's a loved one. And even when I can't find anything at first, the act of trying, of setting your mind to find something, that's something.

keep searching. Find the will to live.

this is what I keep telling myself.

@Sjr hey, I love what you wrote. That depression takes even the joy out of things that you onced loved. You could not say it better. Please keep trying to find the reason why you fell and it would be easier to get up again. <3
