That it's ok to be sad. I don't need to hate myself for having that kind of emotion. I need to embrace it and try to fox it, not just shove it aside.
@GlenM to be happy and relaxed
@GlenM The greatest lesson I've learned here is to trust the process of reaching out to the community. It works. It will work. Trust the process.
Don't go with the 95%
If I believe in fictional characters who have done horrible things to others in the past to be worthy of redemption or happiness in future, I can certainly believe in myself. Compared to their mistakes, mine are laughably small but why do I find it so much harder to forgive myself? I may have been a bad friend or absentee daughter sometimes but I never set out to hurt anyone or anything like that. So why do I feel bad about myself and feel guilt about not performing well as a human being all the time? Just not showing up on time or awkwardly exiting conversations are enough to make me feel guilty. So illogical. I must start believing that I AM worthy of love and happiness and I am strong enough to keep trying to become better human being
To accept myself
#1 thing i have learned on This leg of the journey : be more patient with Myself 😁
I've learned that I need to trust myself more
Getting over depression is tough, especially when no one else knows you're suffering.
