I have learnt that life does not need to be rushed.

That's such an awesome milestone and I truly agree with you. By taking it slow we could realise so many other things that we've never seen before and that's an amazing feeling. Thank you for sharing it here @Mikaus smiley

I've learned that it feels better when you take things off your chest

I have learned that their are others who are dealing with the same issues as me. Still trying to learn how to explain to others about how my mental illness effects me.

I learned that feeling better is a process you have to work on. It doesn't just come to you like a feather in the wind. You have to actively persue it. Embrace happiness, positivity and happy feelings. You have to constantly work on believing in yourself, in others, the world around you. Even though it might feel forced at first, it will open up your eyes for the small but beautiful things around you. And even if it won't work for a day, even if you try, and still can't feel it, don't stress yourself for it. It is fine to be off for a day. Accept yourself in all of your forms, in all your ways. If you are down or sad, that is ok, accept what you feel. Pushing it away only hurts. Embrace your feelings and accept them, they will pass soon enough. You deserve a nap. A nice cup of tea. A day off. Doing nothing at all. But the next day try to go out and smell the roses again, if you can.

Don't try and rush your progress, it will happen at its pace. Stay patient.
