Taking it one step at a time -- literally. But I'm glad I started on this site. It may not feel like it's helping much now, but in the long run I know I'll be able to see a difference.

What have I learned so far today? Well, for me, I received a gentle reminder to engage; to reach out with curiosity & passion in spite of and because of any hesitancy I might be experiencing.

While I intellectually realize the importance of reaching out & welcoming in (giving & receiving), often I tend to withdraw-I can be quite the hermit! Lol How lovely to read others thoughts, (be they struggles or celebrations) and to emotionally connect to many, many shared reflections - both similar & vastly different.

I am never alone unless I choose......a personal re-re-re-reminder of that fact today. 😆

I am thankful that I came upon 7 Cups; for stepping out of my shell & for curiously stepping into other's lives, (even if only virtually) AND for exploring further. It only takes one step, or in this case...signing up & one text. 😉😊

And now? My intentions are to be self/other-compassionate & to continue to move forward.❤

Listen to your body, it tells you exactly what it needs and don't need :)

Stop over thinking stuff and give your brain a break sometimes.

@GlenM

I learned that it's not impossible, but possible with one step at a time.

It's a journey, not a destination... just like life. Accept help along the way, and offer help when possible.

@Vanders

So true! Glad you're learning to balance giving and accepting help. That's something I work at too.

I learned that there's a way out of the hole I'm in, even if it takes me a long time to get there

@emma160

It can take people a long time to learn that lesson, but it can be so freeing to have that realization! I am so happy to hear that you have learned this and thank you so much, Emma for sharing it with us!
